Genevieve is a deaf actor & writer. She is best known on screen for roles in BBC’s PRESS, BAFTA winning series THE FADES, CALL THE MIDWIFE and Channel 4’s SHAMELESS. She most recently starred alongside Sarah Lancashire in Channel 4’s THE ACCIDENT, which became the highest rated drama premiere of 2019.

Her talent as a writer was spotted by Jack Thorne who began mentoring her and is now attached to Executive Produce her first original project. Genevieve is currently working on two commissions for the BBC and has several more original projects in development; she won the 2020 Red Planet Prize for her legal drama CURIO. In 2021, Genevieve was named a Star of Tomorrow by Screen Daily.
