Joe Dempsie
Joe is currently filming a pivotal role in the next series of SHERWOOD (BBC) directed by Clio Barnard. His recent television credits include HBO’s GET MILLIE BLACK (Ch4) alongside Tamara Lawrence, Netflix’s TOXIC TOWN opposite Aimee Lou Wood and the upcoming latest series of THE CAPTURE (BBC) opposite Holliday Grainger.
Joe is best known for leading roles in the award winning SKINS (E4), THIS IS ENGLAND (Channel 4), Birger Larsen’s MURDER (BBC), and GAME OF THRONES (HBO). Other television credits include the lead role in DEEP STATE (FX) opposite Mark Strong, Netflix drama PIECES OF HER, and SHOWTRIAL (BBC).
Film credits include Marcelle Lunam’s ADDITION which premiered at TIFF this year, THE GAMECHANGERS opposite Daniel Radcliffe, Clio Barnard’s DARK RIVER, Netflix feature BEEN SO LONG opposite George MacKay and Michaela Coel.
