Joe is a BIFA-winning and BAFTA-nominated actor. Joe won the 2018 Best Actor BIFA for his startling performance as Billy Moore in A PRAYER BEFORE DAWN and was also nominated for the 2018 Leading Actor BAFTA for his role as Frank in HANG THE DJ as part of the BLACK MIRROR series for Netflix. A hugely popular and well regarded actor, notable roles include John Shelby in BBC’s iconic PEAKY BLINDERS, Sean Wallace in Sky’s hit GANGS OF LONDON and Disney+’s Emmy-winning A SMALL LIGHT opposite Bel Powley. Other television credits include PURE for Channel 4, THE IPCRESS FILES for ITV, and NIGHTSLEEPER for the BBC. His film credits include Jeremy Saulnier’s GREEN ROOM, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE opposite Miles Teller and SECRET IN THEIR EYES opposite Julia Roberts.
