Martin Compston is a multi-award-winning Scottish actor with nearly two decades of experience in film and television. He is best known for his lead role as DS Steve Arnott in Jed Mercurio’s LINE OF DUTY, the UK’s highest-rated returning television drama. Martin most recently starred in FEAR and THE RIG, both for Amazon and has just wrapped on THE REVENGE CLUB for Paramount+
His other television credits include leading roles in IN PLAIN SIGHT (BAFTA-nominated for Best Actor), TRACES, VIGIL, and THE NEST. He has also guest-starred in acclaimed dramas such as VICTORIA and RIPPER STREET.
Martin won a BAFTA Award and a BIFA Award for SWEET SIXTEEN, directed by Ken Loach. His performance in A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS earned ensemble awards at Gijón and Sundance.
