Edward Hogg
Edward’s recent work includes performances in THE DOUBLE ACT at the Arcola Theatre, THE HYPOCHONDRIAC at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre, and APPROPRIATE at the Donmar Warehouse. On screen, he was recently seen in the feature film THE YELLOW TIE opposite John Malkovich, and in THE LONELY MUSKETEER, a performance that earned him the award for Best Performance in a UK Feature at the 2025 Raindance Festival. He can currently be seen in LAZARUS on Amazon Prime.
His notable feature film credits include LUTHER: THE FALLEN SUN, KILL YOUR FRIENDS and the critically acclaimed WHITE LIGHTNIN’. Edward also appeared in Stephen Frears’ THE PROGRAM, the Wachowskis’ sci-fi epic JUPITER ASCENDING, and ANONYMOUS amongst other film credits. Short film THE PHONE CALL, in which he starred, won Best Short Film at the 2015 Academy Awards.
On television, Edward has been seen in THE IRREGULARS (Netflix), PENNYWORTH (Starz), and the BBC’s acclaimed TABOO alongside Tom Hardy. He also starred in Hulu’s HARLOTS, BBC’s JONATHAN STRANGE & MR. NORRELL, and Channel 4’s period drama INDIAN SUMMERS. Further television credits include THE BORGIAS, DEAD BOSS, and MISFITS.
A highly accomplished stage actor, Edward has performed extensively with the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe, including portraying Romeo in Daniel Kramer’s ROMEO AND JULIET. He appeared as Caliban in THE TEMPEST at Theatre Royal Bath and starred in Rob Icke’s THE WILD DUCK at the Almeida Theatre.
