Sophie Littman
Sophie’s short SUDDEN LIGHT was selected for competition at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and nominated for a BIFA in 2021, the same year Sophie was named a Screen Star of Tomorrow. Her BFI and BBC backed short KNOW THE GRASS later went on to premiere at the 2021 BFI London Film Festival among many others.
Sophie is a writer and director with a background in Fine Art, after graduating from the Slade, Sophie created a series of short experimental films that went on to screen at festivals such as Aesthetica and LSFF. She’s currently writing her first feature for BBC Film with David Yates’ Wychwood Pictures producing, alongside developing an original TV idea.
