Rafe Spall

Rafe is a highly celebrated actor of stage and screen. He can currently be seen in Apple TV’s SMOKE opposite Taran Egerton & Greg Kinnear. Other notable television credits include his much beloved performance in TRYING, Apple TV’s longest running show, as well as his acclaimed performance opposite Emily Blunt in the Amazon / BBC series THE ENGLISH, Cameron Crowe’s ROADIES for Showtime, Hugo Blick’s THE SHADOW LINE and WAR OF THE WORLDS for the BBC. 

On the big screen, Rafe starred alongside Michael B. Jordan and Brie Larson in JUST MERCY for Warner Bros, MEN IN BLACK opposite Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson for Sony, and JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM for Universal. Other film credits include Adam McKay’s THE BIG SHORT, Stephen Spielberg’s THE BFG, Ang Lee’s LIFE OF PI, Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS, Edgar Wright’s HOT FUZZ and SHAUN OF THE DEAD, Dan Mazer’s I GIVE IT A YEAR and Lone Scherfig’s ONE DAY opposite Anne Hathaway. 
In theatre, Rafe’s performance as Atticus Finch in the West End premiere of Aaron Sorkin’s TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD was nominated for an Olivier Award. He also starred in the one-man show DEATH OF ENGLAND at The National Theatre to rave reviews. Other stage credits include Olivier-nominated performances in CONSTELLATIONS at the Royal Court and Ivo Van Hove’s HEDDA GABLER at the National, as well as Harold Pinter’s BETRAYAL on Broadway opposite Daniel Craig & Rachel Weisz. 

Rafe can currently be seen in UNDER SALT MARSH for Sky opposite Kelly Reilly and he will next be seen in TV series SECRET SERVICE for ITV, alongside Gemma Arteton. He has can also be seen in the fifth season of TRYING for Apple TV.
