Michael trained at RADA and quickly established himself in theatre, delivering standout performances in MACBETH at the National Theatre and as the lead in Clint Dyer’s DEATH OF ENGLAND: DELROY which earned widespread acclaim. More recently Michael starred in THE LEHMAN TRILOGY directed by Sam Mendes and Jamie Lloyd’s ROMEO & JULIET alongside Tom Holland.
Other notable theatre credits include PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS (UK tour), THE DARK, Bijan Sheibani’s BARBERSHOP CHRONICLES, HENRY VI PART 1 for the RSC and BLUE ORANGE (UK tour).
On screen, Michael’s versatility has seen him land roles in major UK dramas including TOP BOY (Netflix), YOU DON’T KNOW ME (BBC/Netflix), SHERWOOD (BBC), and the BAFTA-winning VERA (ITV) as well as DOCTOR WHO.
He can next be seen in THE LAST DISTURBANCE OF MADELINE HYNDE directed by Kenneth Branagh, OUT OF ACES and indie feature LFD.
