Leila Farzad
Leila will next be seen on stage in Tom Stoppard’s ARCADIA (Old Vic) and on screen in a lead role in TWO WEEKS IN AUGUST(BBC). She is best known for her BAFTA-nominated performance in Lucy Prebble’s I HATE SUZIE opposite Billie Piper and can most recently be seen in the box office hit BRIDGET JONES: MAD ABOUT THE BOY, opposite Renée Zellweger. She will also star in Lisa McGee’s highly anticipated HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN FROM BELFAST (Netflix).
Her other notable TV credits include Charlie Covell’s series KAOS (Netflix), THE DECAMERON (Netflix), BETTER (BBC), BLACK MIRROR (Netflix), Armando Iannucci’s AVENUE 5 (HBO), THIS TIME WITH ALAN PARTRIDGE (BBC), LANDSCAPERS (HBO) opposite Olivia Colman and THE FEAR INDEX (Sky). On stage, Leila has starred in RICHARD II at Shakespeare’s Globe and Nicholas Hytner’s JULIUS CAESAR at The Bridge Theatre.
