Jimmy Akingbola

Jimmy recently wrapped the final season of BEL-AIR for Peacock, taking on the iconic role of Geoffrey. He is also known for ITV’s crime thriller THE TOWER and for his leading role in KATE AND KOJI with Brenda Blethyn for ITV and BritBox. He starred as Valentine, the younger brother to Idris Elba’s character, in the Sky One/Starz comedy IN THE LONG RUN.
Other screen credits include the Emmy-nominated MOST DANGEROUS GAME (Quibi) with Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz, TED LASSO (Apple TV+), BAFTA-winning REV (BBC2) with Olivia Colman and Tom Hollander, ARROW (CW) as Baron Reiter and CHEAT (ITV). Jimmy is also the host of the comedy panel show SORRY, I DIDN’T KNOW where two teams of comedians take viewers on an eye-opening tour of Black history spanning across the globe.

Jimmy is the co-founder of TriForce Productions and founder of the TriForce Creative Network, a platform creating opportunities for underrepresented talent through initiatives like the TriForce Short Film Festival, WriterSlam UK and MonologueSlam UK. 
His stage work includes FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WAR (Royal Court), THE ISLAND (Young Vic), and THE CUT (Donmar Warehouse) directed by Michael Grandage.
