Edward Bluemel trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and has since built a dynamic career across film, television, and theatre.
It was recently announced that Edward would take on the iconic role of Hercule Poirot in the new BBC adaptation, HERCULE.
Edward recently wrapped on SHY & LOLA for the BBC starring alongside Bel Powley and Hayley Squires.
He recently starred in Amazon Prime’s MY LADY JANE, alongside Emily Bader, Dominic Cooper, and Rob Brydon, and played Levi in the BBC’s breakout comedy-drama WE MIGHT REGRET THIS  S1&2, created by Kyla Harris and Lee Getty. Edward also starred in the THE SEVEN DIALS MYSTERY, opposite Mia McKenna-Bruce, Martin Freeman, and Helena Bonham Carter for Netflix.
On film, he featured in PERSUASION, based on the Jane Austen novel, with Dakota Johnson and Richard E. Grant, and in ACCESS ALL AREAS opposite Ella Purnell and Georgie Henley.
His stage credits include lead roles in Daniel Evans’ RSC production of BORN WITH TEETH at the Wyndham’s Theatre starring opposite Ncuti Gatwa, Trevor Nunn’s LOVE IN IDLENESS (West End) and Vicky Jones’ TOUCH at Soho Theatre, where he was praised for his presence and versatility.
