Daniel rigby

Daniel Rigby is an award-winning actor and comedian who trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He could most recently be seen starring in I, JACK WRIGHT for Alibi and will soon be seen playing the role of Vernon Dursley in the HBO series HARRY POTTER. Daniel will also be seen in the new Amazon show BLADE RUNNER 2099.

His TV credits include Charlie Brooker’s BLACK MIRROR, BAFTA-winning FLOWERS (Channel 4), BBC’s BIG SCHOOL, SICK NOTE (Sky Atlantic), and ITV’s PLEBS. His role as Eric Morecambe in ERIC AND ERNIE won him Best Actor at the 2011 BAFTA TV Awards. Other credits: JERICHO, AGATHA CHRISTIE’S MARPLE: A CARIBBEAN MYSTERY (BBC), THE WITCHFINDER (BBC2), BAFTA-nominated LANDSCAPERS (HBO Max), and TOM JONES(ITV).

In theatre, he originated Mr Stringer in the National Theatre’s THE WITCHES, starred in ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST (West End), winning a UK Theatre Award. Other stage work includes ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS (West End/Broadway), TWELFTH NIGHT, FROST/NIXON, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, and NOISES OFF.
