Conleth Hill
Conleth is best known for playing Lord Varys in the critically-acclaimed HBO series GAME OF THRONES. He can currently be seen leading THE POWER OF PARKER (BBC) and has just wrapped a lead role in SUSPECT: THE SHOOTING OF JEAN CHARLES DE MENEZES (Disney +) as well as 3 BAGS FULL opposite Hugh Jackman.
Other television credits include HOLDING (ITV), DUBLIN MURDERS (BBC/Starz), HANG UPS (C4), a much loved turn as Elsie in Peter Kay’s CAR SHARE (BBC), MAGPIE MURDERS (BBC) and THE LOVERS (Sky). Conleth’s film credits include SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN alongside Ewan McGregor, Woody Allen’s WHATEVER WORKS, political drama OFFICIAL SECRETS and Claire Dunne’s critically acclaimed drama HERSELF.
Conleth has worked extensively in theatre, including the Olivier-nominated West End production of WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF and MACBETH (Berkeley Rep) alongside Frances McDormand. Conleth has won Olivier Awards for Best Actor for his roles in both THE PRODUCERS (West End) and STONES IN HIS POCKETS (West End / Broadway). He has been nominated for a Tony Award twice, for STONES IN HIS POCKETS and THE SEAFARER. Last summer, Conleth returned to the Traverse Theatre once again to lead ADULTS.
