Lucy briers

On stage, Lucy most recently appeared in BACKSTROKE at the Donmar and ORLANDO at the Garrick, opposite Emma Corrin on the West End. For the big screen, she was last seen in DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE and WE LIVE IN TIME starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, and will next be seen in FLAVIAopposite Martin Freeman and Toby Jones. 

For TV, Lucy can be seen in the Game of Thrones spin off HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, Working Title’s remake of EMMA, Channel 4 series HOME, ITV’s ENDEAVOUR and the new Hulu series FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, as well as BBC One’s THE OTHER BENNET SISTER.

Most recognised for her role in the BBC’s highly acclaimed PRIDE & PREJUDICE alongside Colin Firth, Lucy’s other TV credits have included the award-winning COUNT ARTHUR STRONG, PRESS, MRS WILSON and GENTLEMAN JACK, as well as VICTORIA for ITV. Although her CV indicates a strong thread of drama titles, Lucy is also known for her work in comedy titles such as THE THICK OF IT and TWENTY TWELVE. Lucy’s other film credits include Zack Snyder’s JUSTICE LEAGUE, ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA and Michael Grandage’s GENIUS.  

Lucy’s extensive and most recent London stage credits include incredible performances in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES directed by Jeremy Herrin, plus ROSMERSHOLM, alongside Hayley Atwell and ALL OF US, alongside Francesca Martinez, both directed by Ian Rickson.
