Breffni was most recently seen leading THE WAVES (Jermyn St Theatre) following a critically acclaimed run in THREE SISTERS (Gaiety Theatre), with Saoirse Monica Jackson and Mairead Tyers as her sisters.
Her screen credits include THE NEVERS (HBO) opposite James Norton, Laurent Larivière’s ABOUT JOAN opposite Freya Mavor and Isabelle Huppert, VIKINGS (MGM/History Channel), THE RACER (Blinder Films), EVERYTHING NOT SAVED (RTE), and most recently BALOR HALL (RTE).
Stage credits include the smash hit THE FLEA (The Yard Theatre) and COLLAPSIBLE (The Bush Theatre and The Abbey Theatre, Dublin), for which she was awarded The Stage Edinburgh Award for Acting Excellence. Her other extensive theatre credits include leading roles in ELECTRIC ROSARY directed by Jaz Woodcock Stewart at the Royal Exchange, Cal McCrystal’s DRAMA AT INISH (The Abbey Theatre, Dublin), IT WAS EASY IN THE END (The Abbey Theatre) and HOT HOUSE (Malaprop).
